Description

This large needle-like implement made of bone has a blunt point at one end. At the other end it is cut straight across, and has a drilled hole. On one face three diagonal lines have been incised in the space between the hole and the squared end. The Donald Cadzow Collection catalogue identifies this as a 'bodklin'.
