Description

Pouch made of caribou hide and decorated with bands of clipped white hair, blue beads, and snippets of red yarn. Around the bottom of the pouch are long tassels of wolverine fur, and lengths of red and black wool yarn. On the tie are three large blue beads. Pouches of this type were commonly used to hold tobacco.
