Description

Pipe with a brass bowl attached to a stem by a post fashioned from iron. The bowl has a slight concavity at the top, with a hole that continues through the post to the stem. Two pieces of copper are set into shallow holes in the side of the bowl. The pipe stem is in two longitudinal sections that have been bound together with a thin strip of hide, which also fastens the bowl to the stem.
