Description

Crooked knife with an iron blade attached to an antler handle with two iron rivets. One face of the handle where it is joined to the blade is curved and has an indentation to provide a grip for the thumb when held in the right hand. The handle is decorated on the same face with an incised line. A hide thong has been wrapped around the handle to improve the grip. A hole drilled through the handle at one end may have been intended to hold a thong for hanging this tool.
